The District+ 2 - 300Wh, one of the standout models from premier brand TREK, is a supremely comfortable and dependable electric bike. Specifically designed to enhance your city commutes and quick errand runs, it is equipped with features like low-maintenance internal gearing, an efficient Bosch Active Line Plus motor, and hydraulic disc brakes for enhanced safety. For a smoother journey on the city streets, it's also fitted with excellent road-smoothening suspension paired with key utility accessories such as mudguards, Daytime Running Lights, and a rear rack.
Perfect for individuals seeking an electric bike that requires minimal maintenance, the District+ 2 delivers superior performance, total comfort, and increased confidence while on the road, courtesy of its top-notch features - the powerful Bosch Active Line Plus motor, essential daytime running lights, as well as suspension fork and seat post.
This model boasts a lightweight Alpha Smooth Aluminium frame with internal cable routing; a robust Bosch Active Line Plus motor (250 W, 50 Nm) that delivers a top speed of 20 mph (25 km/h); and option of a 300Wh, 400Wh, or 500Wh battery complemented by an Intuvia controller. Reliable and easy to maintain, the Shimano Nexus 7-speed internal drivetrain guarantees a smooth ride while hydraulic disc brakes assure excellent stopping power. Add in accessories like a MIK rear rack, mudguards, and ergonomic grips, and the District+ 2 is the ideal companion for city riding.
The bike's Forklight 3.0 suspension fork performs double duty, absorbing those jarring bumps on the road while its integrated lights ensure your path ahead is well illuminated. The internally geared Shimano Nexus hub ensures frictionless shifting, with its low-maintenance feature meaning even less effort from you.
As for battery range, gauge how far you can go on a single charge by using Bosch's range calculator. While the variable reflects the bike model and is averaged for a typical rider, you can adjust the parameters for a more precise estimate.
For that extra wow factor, why not upgrade your pedals? As one of the key points of contact between you and your bike, choosing pedals that promote grip and control could drastically enhance your riding experience. Our pedal guide offers expert suggestions based on your riding style, with flat pedals highly recommended for their versatility.
